So I've been working on expanding this blog for a while at another location. I wanted more control of my layout, mostly. I am not actually leaving VOX, and am just going to post both places for a while, but Sweet Tea does have a new home on the web, at blogspot: http://www.sweetteainnyc.blogspot.com
I messed around with TypePad, and WordPress, but decided I could do the most at BlogSpot, and get the look I exactly wanted with little html knowledge. I'm really happy without the site turned out.
Anyway, I'm not going anywhere. I will be at both places. I just wanted to try something new.
I have yet to successfully keep a blog of any kind. I've bounced around on all the major blogging sites since high school: LiveJournal, BlogSpot, MySpace... among others. I was beginning to think I wasn't cut out for this whole blogging thing despite the fact I enjoy writing and have things to say. Important things! Brilliant things! ...Well, maybe not so much, but I do have things to say, and although some of these things may be unintelligible, that's really not the point.
The point I am taking so very long to make is that I stumbled on Vox and suddenly realized this is the blog I've always dreamed of having. No wonder my others were so short lived: those sites don't have anything on Vox. So here I am, one more time, attempting this whole blog thing again. Here's hoping I can actually maintain this thing for longer than a week.
